Rashes at night ?

My brother somethimes gets a rash at night. It is only located on his back. and it calms down when my mom puts a wet, cold cloth. The rash doesn't occure during the day. What is it?

Probably just a heat rash. Try keeping the room cooler at night if you can.

he could be allergic to dust mites that live in mattresses. Hoover the mattress every week to keep the dust away

it could be the bedsheets.

maybe he's allergic to the fabric, laundry detergent, the fabric softener or even the mattress itself. Or if there's a pet in the house and the pet lies there, that could be it.
