by saying rashi do u mean the zodaicsign?if it is that,there r two ways of calculating the rashi.one is as per the movements of sun & the other is as per the movements of moon.to know the rashi we should know either the date & month of birth or the star in which the person took birth.it's not enough if only the star is known.the duration of the existence of the star is again divided into 4 parts.we should also know in which part he took birth.to know all these we must know the exact time of birth,date & year of birth.all this is a long & complicated process.experts will do it better.try it.all the best.
