The summer signing from FC Nantes has not been used much by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 coach Elie Baup and it appears that the youngster could be set for a move away from Stade Velodrome this winter
While talking to the media regarding his former player, Florian Raspentino’s move to Olympique de Marseille, FC Nantes coach Landry Chauvin said that the youngster had made a wrong choice to join Les Phoceens when there were other clubs interested in him.
“Let me be clear, I think it was not the right choice. He had the opportunity to go to other clubs in Ligue 1 where he had game time,” says Chauvin who is clearly not pleased with the way things have gone for a player who was one of Ligue 2’s most consistent
performers in the past two seasons.
Symbol the Olympique de Marseille’s low-cost recruitment policy, Raspentino is far from being a profitable player even though he joined Elie Baup’s side as a free agent. The youngster has not started a single game for the Rhone giants this season and has
appeared only three times.
Many people expected big things from the youngster but it appears that his owners are now set to sell or loan him out in the January transfer window.
After being able to secure a loan-deal for Chelsea’s Gael Kakuta last season, Dijon are indeed in pole position to have the player at their disposal if they play their cards wisely like they did last winter.
Following the departure of Benjamin Corgnet, Olivier Dall’Oglio, coach of Dijon is still searching for an offensive asset and might be seriously considering making a move for Raspentino in order to find a good replacement for Corgnet who is doing ever so
well for new club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Lorient-c39153.
With Thil and Jovial out injured, the Corsican club’s coach knows that his team is going through a bad period and trying to exploit Raspentino’s situation at Florian Raspentino’s should be on the recruitment cell’s agenda.
Although Marseille have no desire to digitally weakening their side, a loan deal for the aforementioned player might be the best way to help the player gain some confidence.
