Devoid of sufficient playing time, Olympique de Marseille forward, Florian Raspentino is set to leave Stade Velodrome in the coming days for a six month loan deal at fellow Ligue 1 outfit, Stade Brestois.
The 23-year-old has managed just 30 minutes of Ligue 1 action since joining Les Phoceens from FC Nantes last summer. And, after failing to get much approval from manager Elie Baup, the talented Frenchman could do well with a little time away from Marseille
to a place where he can get a taste of Ligue 1 action more regularly.
While talking to reporters regarding the move to Brest, Raspentino said that he is hopeful of completing a loan move to Landry Chauvin’s side (who was his coach during the player’s time at FC Nantes).
“The two clubs have agreed. I hope to be at Brest this weekend. I am pleased to join my former coach Landry Chauvin. It will be a free loan option. At my age, I must play,” explained the player who would be looking to use a good experience at the Breton
club as a springboard to comeback more strongly upon his return to the Rhone giants.
And, Raspentino hopes to return to the club of his heart as a completer package than he was when he came from Nantes.
Meanwhile, reigning Ligue 1 champions, Montpellier Herault SC could be set to part ways with Nigerian international striker, John Utaka. The former Portsmouth man has chosen not to extend his contract with the northerners and with his current deal set to
expire this June, La Paillade are keen on selling him this month in order to recover as much transfer fee as they can.
Reports claim that a few clubs is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Qatar-c2986 are seemingly interested in a player who has been in fine form this season. A fee in the region of 2 million euros has been cited by Le Parisien which means that Rene Girard might be willing to part ways with one of
the key members of his starting XI.
