Rat Cages Help Please?

How many rats can I house in this cage?

speaking from my own experience i would only have 2 rats they get pretty big /fat when they get older  they actually might fight each other they can be  kinda  fussy about having there (own space)

so if you do get more than one wacth them closely even if they were in the same cage at the store !

I would say two, but if you let them out to play often, then no more than three.

You'll have to clean those shelves every few days. Or if you place bedding in them, it wouldn't get as messy as quick, but they'll kick it around and off. Take your pick.

2-3 only. Those shelves are c**p. The dip around the plastic serves as a pee-catcher, producing a place called Pee River all around each level.
