Rat breeders in RI/MA?

Question

I'm looking to find rat breeders in Rhode Island. I'll also buy from breeders in MA. I don't think I want to buy from a pet store. I heard that rats from breeders are generally healthier.

You also might want to consider getting a pair of rats from your local humane society.  When they do get rats they are often at the shelter for many months before they are adopted.  They cost around the same and the money you spend will go towards helping other animals.  You'll also be giving some rats a new home.
