Rat cold help!?

Question

ok my rat has a cold i think

pale fur around the face sneezing a little redness around the eye

how much would it cost to get her cold fixed?

i think it was couse of the first time i bathed her she has been like this a couple of weeks also

how hot should the bath water be?

one of my rats had a respitory infection. take her to the vet and i belive they will perscribe something called baytrill?? my rat had a fairly serious one and thet gave her two medications. they are liquids and you just squirt them into their mouth with a syringe. the meds cost me about $70 and the vet visit was $20 (canadian, and we went to a rodent speciallist). also, if one has worse symptoms than the other, it is important to isolate the other for i think ten days.

Rats don't get colds like humans do.  What rats do get are upper respiratory infections, these do not get better without vet care.  You need to take her to the vet to get antibiotics.

The cost depends on where you live.  You'll have to call around to find out what exams cost in your area, antibiotics are usually less than $20.  I live in an expensive area and it cost $70 for my last vet visit.
