Rat question!?

Question

my rat wont let me pick him up so everytime i need to put him in his playpen area (like to clean the cage) i have to wait 20-30 minutes to let him crawl out on his own! is there an easier,

quicker way to get him out? sometimes he doesnt even come out!

you should probably work with him next time you clean his cage out. let him sniff your hand for a while and then slowly try to pick him up. it may work.

lure him with a treat or interesting object and then lve him and kiss him once he comes out, but i just grab mine and  put them in the other cage

i have found peanut butter works realllyyyy well.

but if he isn't into the whole greedy food grabbing thing like mine. Then try making a clicking noise, like you hear some people do with horses, and talk softly to him. If that doesnt work, try tilting the cage.

otherwise, i am at a loss of words.
