So this is my second season in a keeper league (the first season we've had something to keep)... Each team was able to keep up to three of the players from last year's roster, but had to forego the round in which they were drafted last season. Interesting dynamic in that sleeper studs from last year could be kept at nominal costs this year... i.e. Adrian Peterson for a 6th round pick, Braylon Edwards for an 8th round pick and Wes Welker for a 13th round pick, etc. The side-effect of this dynamic, is that during this years 1st and 2nd rounds, those with picks found themselves themselves in some cases picking from 3rd or 4th round caliber players.
I had the 9th pick in a 10 team league. 1 point per reception and 0.5 point per completion. 17 roster spots. Here's how I did:
1) Frank Gore (keeper)
2) Reggie Bush (12)
3) Brandon Marshall (29)
4) Marcus Colston (keeper)
5) Rashard Mendenhall (49)
6) Jericho Cotchery (52)
7) Julius Jones (69)
8) Kevin Curtis (72)
9) Kellen Winslow (keeper)
10) Jay Cutler (92)
11) Green Bay Defense (109)
12) Chris Johnson (112)
13) Mark Clayton (129)
14) Pierre Thomas (132)
15) Rob Bironas (149)
16) Jon Kitna (152)
17) Devin Thomas (169)
What do you think?
