Rate My Semi-Finalist Poem Please :D?

Question

I entered a contest on poetry.com and then a couple weeks later I got a letter saying its gonna be published in a book, & I can win some money in a contest.

I just want to know what people think of it,

it was about my neighbor who I've known all my life,

was on drugs, and overdosed & died a year back :(

I think your poem was beautiful Amber. You had the perfect balance between conflict and peace. It also contained a lot of emotion.

Sure, you're a "semi-finalist" and it can be published in a book.  Just try to find that book on any store shelf.  If you want it, you will have to buy it.  Get it?  They pull you in and take your money.  It's the oldest trick in the book.

I'm sorry but you have been scammed in the meanest possible sense.  They have made you think things that are not true.
