It's a ten team league with the default yahoo scoring system.

Starters:

QB Drew Brees

RB Adrian Peterson

RB Willis McGahee

WR Larry Fitzgerald

WR Roy Williams (Detroit Lions)

WR Lee Evans

TE Dallas Clark

K Phil Dawson

DEF Jacksonville

Bench:

QB David Garrard

RB Ronnie Brown

RB Fred Taylor

RB Chris Perry

WR Derrick Mason

WR DeSean Jackson

The only thing I think I'm struggling with is my second RB. McGahee is currently injured so I'm kinda worried about him. Fred Taylor isn't good enough to start, and Ronnie Brown is also injured. Chris Perry is now the starting RB for the Bengals, so do you think I should make him a starter over McGahee?

Also, I'm thinking about trading Roy Williams for Calvin Johnson straight up. Should I do it?

  1. Taylor isnt good enough to start? Only 15 RBs outscored him last season in fantasy points therefore he is better than the 2nd starter on half the other teams. The Bengals cant run the ball, they couldnt last year and they couldnt in the preseason, what changes now? I would be starting Taylor until McGahee is recovered and waiting to see how the Brown situation developes (Ricky Williams for all his problems ran real well this preseason) and wait to see if the Bengals can find a running game before starting Perry (who will be in a timeshare with Kenny Watson).

As for the trade....I would do that in a heartbeat, Johnson will be the #1 receiver for the Lions this year. He is better than Williams already and will ony improve (plus he was unstoppable in the preseason).

  2. Playoff bound in a 13 game season you will have like a 9-4 record from one to ten id give a 8

  3. I think it's a pretty good team.  Playoff bound for sure, barring injuries.  In my opinion, your WRs are shaky.  I would not be confident putting Mason and Jackson in when necessary.  And for McGahee, just wait and see what happens with him.  He should be ready for week 1.  Don't overthink things, McGahee is your best option for number 2 RB.
