Rate my poem please :)

Question

Hi all, i just wrote this poem for my girl who is away for awhile across the country, what do you guys/girls think of it :). thx!

there is something i would like to write

something that keeps me awake at night

knowing that your so far away

yet so close to my heart that is open to stay

each time i hear you everyday

on msg or another way

i know that i will be ok

just hearing your voice

makes me fly up high into the sky

where i lie and think about you and i

together we find

together we bind

together we will see

something that is meant to be

She will love it because it is from you.  As for the poem I think it is good.  Love has a way of inspiring you but missing someone dearly inspires you so much more because you realise just how precious they are to you.  Good luck to you both and make sure you read the poem to her.

Wow you are really good at poetry and its especially good that this is your first try at poetry. I really like the fact that it rhymes! I like the part :together we find

:) its just beautiful. i think if you carried on making poems like this you could really make a name for yourself!
