Rate my team of pokemon for pokemon diamond, please!?

Heracross

Magnezone

Skarmory/Togekiss (I'm still deciding which one)

Gallade

Are there any major flaws with my team? And Should I get a a skarmory or a togekiss? I like skarmory's walling ablilties, but togekiss has a great movepool and nice sp. atk/sp. def

Your team is quite good, but you need to watch out for 4x effective damage on your pokemon: Heracross ( flying 4x), Garchomp (ice 4x) , magnezone (ground 4x).

i think that you should choose togekiss. As you said, it has great movepool and good sp atk & sp def. Skarmory is not bad, but i think that togekiss is a better choice. As skarmory share the same type with your other team member, you skarmory is vulnerable to attacks that may wipe out both of your teammate. But with togekiss, you had higher chances to survive different attack.

you dont have another walling pokemon so id go with skarmory... another thing is starter pokemon are OK for competitive battling but i would personally replace empoleon with a lapras

On a scale of 1-10 i'd rate 9, I'd use Togekiss, and i'd switch heracross out for a fire type, or teach Garchomp flamethrower and switch heracross for a dark type.
