Keira: 8/10.  Very cute and strong.

Amelia: 9/10.  Adorable, and it has great nicknames.

Gracie: 6/10.  Gracie is too informal to use as a first name.  Why not name her Grace, and then use the nickname Gracie?  That way, she has a formal first name to put on her resume, and if she decides she doesn't like the nickname Gracie she doesn't have to use it.

Deanna: 6/10.  Not my favorite; I would prefer just Anna or another name ending in Anna.

Megan: 7/10.  Cute; kind of common.

Daisy: 6/10.  A bit too flimsy for my tastes; I wouldn't want to be an adult and have the name Daisy.

Alice: 10/10.  Perfect!  It's short, sweet, and it sounds like an independent young woman.

Holly: 8/10.  Cute.

Ishbel: 5/10.  I'm reminded of Ishmael.  The nickname Tish is cute though.

Josselyn: 6/10.  Decent, but not my taste.

Janelle: 6/10.  Again, it's decent but not my taste.

I'm going to rank the names out of 12, since you have twelve names listed. 1 is the lowest ranking, and 12 is the highest.

1. Ishbel - This name sounds like somebody is sneezing while attempting to say Isabel. If you really want to use the nickname Tish, I'd recommend you use a name like Leticia (the 'teesh' sound in Leticia can be a nickname in inself, or shortened to 'tish'

2. Janelle - An okay name, but sounds rather stale and dated.

3. Josselyn - The spelling of this name is quite confusing. The more classic Jocelyn spelling is much nicer.

4. Gracie - A very cute nickname, but I only like it as a nickname (for Grace or Grayson etc). You should use a full, proper name for a child so that they can fall back on it as an adult or teen.

5. Keira - I dislike this spelling of the name Ciara.

6. Deanna - Sounds like a pretty name, but I keep thinking it's short for Indiana, or somebody pronouncing Diana wrong.

7. Megan - A contemporary classic.

8. Amelia - I want to like this name, because it looks so pretty and classic, but I can't stand the 'meal' sound made when you say this name out loud. I prefer the name Amelie.

9. Holly - Another contemporary classic. You can't really go wrong with this name.

10. Daisy - A lovely name that has a certain old-fashioned charm.

11. Julia - A pretty name with timeless appeal.

12. Alice - My favourite name on your list! Alice is such a charming and distinctive name. I love the sound of the name, it's meaning ('noble, exalted'), how nice it looks in print, and the name's literary associations.

Please not Josselyn!! Every Josselyn I've ever met was a mean s***k.- No offense to Josselyns out there, I haven't met you yet.  Gracie is cute, but sounds like she might grow up to be a brat. I like Holly, sounds classy. Julia is not very original.  Janelle is unique.  Alice just reminds me of the brady bunch. Keira sounds kind of stuck up. Amelia sounds like she'd grow up to be a nice little girl, maybe kinda shy.  Megan is just, well, Megan. Daisy makes me think of sour cream. Deanna is just okay- maybe if it was spelled differently.  And I'm not so sure about the Tish character.
