Rate this Desktop on a 1-10 scale, and then answer can it run CoD4?

My specs are a:

Dell XPS 420

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Quad 6600

3GB DDR2 RAM

320GB HDD

ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO

Windows Vista Home Premium

...Hmm, I think that's all of it. Now, rate this computer on a scale of 1-10, and then tell me if it can run CoD4? If so, at what settings?

From what I can see you could run COD4 with that. About a 7 I'd say.

For future use I suggest checking the site below when checking if you can run a game.

Now go kick some *** in COD4 :D

I would rate your comp a 8 and yes cod 4 will work you got the min requirments if your not sure go to canyourunit.com

but you can overclock that up to an 8.  Just be careful of heat.

I believe that call of duty supports multiprocessing, so you are good to go with the quad core.

I do not have vista, but I know that it will take a lot of the thinking power that your CPU can put out, so that is working against you, but quad core is a beautiful creature.

A friend of mine just built one of these. The thing is 7 times faster then my p4 2.53. It should be fine with cod4 , but the only thing maybe holding you back is that the video card is only 256megs.

7 only because so many new things have come out recentley and since the octo core aka 8 cores I know omfg!!!! is coming its gonna lower your computer.

But any quad core even the first are great for the future 3gb is great really dont need anymore but 4 wont hurt.

Nice sized hard drive I dont know why people need 800gb or 1tb hard drives I have an 80gb hard drive aand its 79 percent free lol there so hard to fill up but I guess thats just me.

Video card is ok but its not good or great I recomend an ati radeon hd 3850 or nvidia 8600 gt or 8800 gt or You can go great and start geting those crazy cards like ati 4870X2 or nvidia gtx 280's

But yes you will run call of duty 4 just fine but Dont expect it not to lagg in huge battles with bombs going off everywhere.
