Rathbeg Duchess likely to dominate proceedings in Bettor.com Betting on the Dogs 500 Trophy
Rathbeg Duchess is expected to dominate proceedings in the Bettor.com Betting on the Dogs 500 Trophy at Shawfield in England on Saturday, April 7, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR race will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The race distance to cover for the runners will be 500 metres and the event will start at 19:30 GMT. Following are the entries confirmed for the race: Rathbeg Duchess, Tyrur Richie, Hey Cosmo, Harry Lauder, Banfid Samson and Cash For Kids.
The bookies have full faith in the abilities of Rathbeg Duchess, who has been in decent form over the past few of races. She is an experienced runner and has been producing consistent results since making her debut.
G. Kennedy’s trainee has mostly been doing trial races in recent times at Shawfield in order to get used to the conditions. She has managed to set some impressive times at the venue and is expected to carry that form in racing.
The veteran hound finished fourth in her most recent race, which was not an impressive result. However, she was up against some quality runners, thus struggled to make a solid impression. The punters will still be interested in placing a few bets in
her favour today.
The black b***h is the daughter of Royal Impact out of Bright Duchess and was born in July 2009.
On the other hand, Tyrur Richie is also a good runner and the bookies expect him to fight for victory in the race. He has been delivering some decent results at different venues, but does not have much experience of running at Shawfield, which will
discourage the bettors from risking money on him.
A. Dawson’s trainee performed well in his most recent outing at Newcastle, where he finished on top of the table. However, he has not raced in this grade regularly, thus he might struggle a bit compared to his rivals.
The black dog is the son of Hades Rocket out of Tyrur Margaret and was born in July 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Hey Cosmo and Harry Lauder are also good runners and might manage to cause an upset at Shawfield today.
