...than an inexperienced President?

Let's just say that sometime during McCain's presidency he passes away of natural causes... then Sarah Palin is sworn into office--- will experience or lack thereof matter then? Say President Obama passes away while in office and Joe Biden is sworn in as President would experiences or lack thereof matter then...

Not to say that scenario should be the only reason [or a reason at all] to vote McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden, but really, which Vice Presidential candidate would you feel can REALLY lead this country in the event that they need to be sworn into office?

  1. McCain just made it that much harder for him to get elected. Palin is being investigated for ethics.lol. She also is against every issue that the Hillary supporters she was supposed to attract are for. Her husband works for BP...lol. She is inexperienced so hopefully he won't be pulling that card out anymore.

Experience isn't an issue for us. That was your problem with Obama. We just think it odd this man forgot that.

  2. Typical liberal reasoning!!

  3. Why has experience never been an issue with you people until today?

ADD:  Sorry.  If experience is what you are concerned about, a vote for Obama means you for sure wont get an experienced person.  A vote for McCain means you will get an experienced person and most likely will have him around his entire term.  How old do you think he is anyway?  People dont die of "old age in their early seventies.  He is a healthy man.

  4. America's middle class has always carried the nation; she is pure middle class and will get any job assigned to her done, and done right.

  5. I think McCain destroyed the Republican party.

I can't wait for the vice presidential debate.  Biden will devour Palin.  what would Palin say was her background?  Mayor of a town with 7000, soccer mom, Idetarod planner, governor of the smallest state by population.  And her highlight?  Making 5 babies.  And the Republicans have started talking about experience.  Surprise.

    I'm scared for America.

  6. Obama is less experienced than Palin. He is only a smiling front man for the socialist radicals promoting and funding his campaign. Palin is a true American patriot. I want someone in office who loves this country and her citizens. Obama is anti-American in his heart.

    MCCAIN/PALIN 2008

  7. Since when experience is an important issue in obama´s campaign?...anyway don´t worry Palin has more experience than obama

  8. Doddery old man at the wheel  -  and an inexperienced map reader ! ! !

  9. First, the question of Senator Obama's "lack of experience" is really just a lot of panicked conservative propaganda being used in an attempt to frighten voters away from Obama/Biden because they know that there's nothing to attract voters to the McCain/Palin camp.

I'd trust a person who has actual foreign policy experience (years worth) and positive relationships with leaders worldwide over someone with beauty pageant experience.

"Boo", yes, Alaska is the largest state as far as square miles; it is one of the least populous states. It's physical size is irrelevent unless it's important to you that the VP of the US can do well on long car trips.

"TiedtoaR" are you implying that the Senator is not a true American patriot?  What evidence do you have of Palin's "true American patriotism"?  The ethics investigation against her that's underway?

"Twentyfo" you're so right.  They picked Palin so they could pump ANWR and continue their lies to this nation about fossil fuels and allow their buddies in Big Oil and Big Coal to keep getting richer and contribute to their campaigns.  If I could, I'd give you ten points!

  10. It's all relative, and each presidency has and will be different. I would like to have a more experienced candidate for my party but not as much as I DON'T want another Bush. Speaking of Bush, we all know that d**k Cheney was the one running this country. Bush is a recovering alcoholic party boy.

  11. This silly question of experience has been a creation of republican politics that date back JFK running against Nixon.  This tact has never worked.  It didn't work when VPs Quale debated Benson, Bill Clinton ran against G. Bush Sr., G. Bush Jr ran against A. Gore, and current President race.  It really doesn't matter.

As far as a VP actually having to step into the role of the President due to some type of tragedy, only George Bush was terrified to take the temporary role when Ronald Reagan was shot by John Hinckley, Jr.  Alexander Haig tried to step into the role of acting President because Bush was afraid of the responsibility.  Ronald Reagan was unconscious during his surgery and recovery, which technically is the perfect situation where the VP should have assume the temporary powers of President.

  12. Palin.  She's run a State.  Biden has just run his mouth.

  13. I think it is all BS and another repub tactic. McCain is more concerned with keeping pretty women in his corner than anything is what I see. His wife is a barbie now we have barbies cousin as the vp nom. WOW.  She was only picked bc he wants to drill up Alaska for more oil.

  14. She's Governor of the largest state in the union.  She has many of the same responsibilities right now.

  15. It's a difference in how these two parties like to lead:

Republican:  You pick the absolute worst VP.  That way, you're not likely to get killed while your in office because what's behind you will be worse.  Examples:  Dan Quail and d**k Cheney.

Democrats:  You pick a VP that rounds you out as an individual because the job of the President is WAY to big for one peron.  It's an team effort.  They pick a person that knows what they don't know.  Examples:  Al Gore (Technology).  Joe Biden (International Affairs).

Which do you want?  Someone that thinks they know it all and picks a VP that'll insure they don't get killed while in office (e.g. JFK), or do you pick a person who thinks of their VP as part of the team?

  16. It's a possibility of an inexperienced VP vs the certainty of an inexperienced president.  And let's not remember, even if McCain died on day 1.. the McCain/Palin ticket would still be more experienced than Obama.
