Rathglass Lad, the one to look out for in the third heat at Peterborough
Two clashing entries for the third heat at Peterborough on Wednesday, 31st October, 2012 are, Belvedere Emma and Rathglass Lad. Both are well seasoned at the open level, while the prior has a lot of room for improvement. The 420 metres flat race has the prize money set at £100. Winning by the margin of a length had him cornering the favourite entry of the race, Fahy Pine, into the second position.
The two-year-old out of, Rathglass Girl, struck a hat-trick after he had nailed the 305 metres in 17.92 seconds in the Betfred Sprint Trophy on 8th October, 2012 at Nottingham.
The fourth trap suited him as he became the first to lead, and then stayed by the rail, capturing the winning spot in 17.92 seconds.
Missing the chance by ¾ of a length was, Blackstone Buzz.
The brindle dog won for the last time in the Sheffield Star Race on 16th October, 2012 at Sheffield over 280 metres.
Rathglass Lad was done with the race in 16.31 seconds.
