Rathglass Lad to handle pressure situation wisely in Betfred Sprint Trophy at Nottingham
Lack of course knowledge is the only concern for Rathglass Lad, who is in tremendous form these days. Having won respectively at Yarmouth and Henlow, the brindle dog has proved his ability to tackle different situations superbly.
So, one can easily expect him to adjust his game quickly to the conditions at Nottingham, where he is appearing in the Betfred Sprint Trophy on Monday, October 08, 2012.
After performing decently at the lower grades, M. Rice’s charge moved up to the top level last month. In a 462 metres contest on September 20th, he gave a wonderful shot to capture the first place by a length’s distance.
It was not a stroke of luck, as he continued his marvellous work to ensure another comprehensive win. The audience at Henlow saw the dangerous fellow seizing the first rank easily by a length’s distance.
After leaving the sixth box, he railed superbly to reach the front row. He stayed there until the finishing line, and beat his opponents with ease. There is nothing wrong with his current rhythm, and no one can find any holes in his recent appearances.
So, one should not underestimate his chances only because of his less knowledge about the track. He surely has a chance to win this 305 metres contest, which has attracted a strong line-up.
Other participants are: Monleek Town, Isheforreal, Blackstone Buzz, Slick Signature and Slaneyside Flash. The plan is to kick off the affair at 21:41 GMT. A cash prize of 150 pounds is reserved for the champion hound.
Monleek Town is a very dangerous hound, but has struggled with consistency. Slaneyside Flash failed to shine on his previous visit. Moreover, luck seems not to be on his side these days.
Isheforreal is well equipped to handle the drop in distance. The white and black dog recently suffered a few awful defeats over four bends, and cannot be trusted blindly. Blackstone Buzz got off the mark at Sheffield, and looks ready to build on that. Slick
Signature is not renowned for his exploits over two bends.
Isheforreal is recommended to those interested in playing safe. But if you want to make it big, try your luck with Rathglass Lad. Good luck to all the participants.
