So Brown is going ahead with ratification of this Treaty but do you think that all 27 of the EU states will ratify this treaty as all 27 states have to agree apparently?

Brown he will not listen to anyone this man...he is like a bull at a gate about everything. Any respect I had for this man has twindled to nothing.

  1. The treaty can not be ratified because in a referendum the people of Ireland voted against it. So all 27 states have "NOT" ratified it and as you rightly say all states have to agree. So it is dead. There was no referendum in any other country because the governments of UK, France, Holland and other countries felt their populations would vote against it.In the British parliament the Liberals who are the most pro-Europe wanted a referendum in Britain not on the treaty but on whether UK should stay in or withdraw from the EU, but both Labour and the Conservatives were against that. Labour did not want any referendum while the Conservatives wanted the referendum to be on the treaty. But the Conservatives supported Tony Blair in pressing for the EU to be expanded to 27 Members without any referendum so they are even bigger hypocrites than Labour on this!

  2. I think that all of them that have their "Parliaments" voting on it will ratify it but all the countries that have the people voting , they won't!!

  3. Only a few days ago, after the Crew bi election Labour swore that they were going to start listening,In their election manifesto they promised not to take us into a more federal Europe without a referendum. If their intentions are honourable they have no excuse for ratifying the treaty without a referendum and to do so now would be an act of the utmost treachery.

  4. the treay has been ratified by politicians only.

    the eu can feck off.

  5. Like all polititions if they don't like the answer they get  -  they ignore it  or keep asking again & again until they get what they are going to do anyway.

  6. no because of all those countries are jingoistic...

  7. I heard Ireland are rejecting the treaty which means it should be called off, doubtful it will though if the beaurecrats want it to go ahead
