6. Mauro Tassotti 
Mauro Tassotti is a retired Italian professional football player. He has played for many prestigious clubs during his career as a footballer including Lazio, A.C. Milan and the Italy National football team. An epitome of versatility, Tassotti played as a
right back, but could also be deployed as a centre-back if the situation called for it. The majority of his career was spent with Milan, as he served the club for seventeen solid years.

He played for the club’s senior team for two seasons and in 1980, Tassotti was transferred to AC Milan. Soon he became a regular at the side, winning several laurels.
The major ones include UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup of 1989, 1990 and 1994, as well as the Intercontinental Cup of 1989 and 1990.
The current assistant manager of Milan made 428 appearances for the Italian side, netting in 8 goals. Tassotti was capable of putting up an excellent defense on the pitch. He captained the club in one of its most spectacular wins of a European Final.

Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko is a Ukrainian professional football player. He is currently giving his valuable services to Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukraine national team. He holds the position as a striker in the team. Shevchenko has played for many revered
football clubs namely Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 National football team.
A product of Dynamo Kyiv youth academy, Shevchenko joined the club’s senior team in 1994. He made 117 appearances for the team with 60 goals and moved on to play for Milan in 1999. Shevchenko rose like a star at the Italian side. He happens to be the all
time top goal-scorer of Derby della Madonnina, with fourteen goals to his honour.
The outstanding striker has earned many awards in Milan, the prime ones being Ballon d'Or in 2004 and the UEFA Champions League in 2003. After signing a professional contract with Chelsea FC, he left the Serie A club in 2006.
4. Alessandro Costacurta
Alessandro Costacurta, more commonly known as Billy, is an Italian retired professional football player and a football manager. The legend has played for AC Milan, Monza and the Italy National football team during his career as a footballer. He held the
position as a centre-back on the field. Born in Orago, Italy, Costacurta spent around twenty years at Milan club.
The 44-year-old joined Milan in 1986. Together with Mauro Tassotti, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-c14050 Baresi and Paolo Maldini, he formed the best defences of the 1990’s in Serie A. The central-defender made a flabbergasting total of 457 appearances for AC Milan and netting in three
 goals. In 1986, he was sent on loan to AC Monza for a short spell.
Costacurta triumphed over the Scudetto seven times with the Italian side. Not only that, he was also instrumental in winning the European Cup five times in 1989, 1990, 1994, 2003 and 2007 for his side. Indeed, Billy rightly holds a place in this list for
the Milan's legends.
