Could someone rank the following 9 colleges in order of admission difficulty? Just from experience or reputation or personal opinion is fine

Emory

Tufts

Cornell

University of Virginia

Washington U in St. Louis

it depends on what you are majoring in. Every school are famous for at least one major. Berkeley is hard though, i saw on the admittance rate once, about 40,000 students applied, but about 9,000 freshman students got in.

You could check out the admission percentages in any of the college guidebooks or their on-line sites.

Berkeley is one of the best in the country, so it's very tough, and there's the in-state/out-of-state factor.  UVa doesn't admit a very large percentage of out-of-state students.
