I dont get this question. "which number is a possible rational zero for

f(x)=5x^3-3x^2+7x-9" "(answers) (A.5) (B.-5) (C.-(9/5)) (D.(5/9))" any help would be great.

  1. There is one real root, and two complex. The real root is x = 1, and isn't any of the answers that you have to pick from.

    5(1)^3-3(1)^2+7(1)-9

    5-3+7-9 = 0
