will a wild rat harm a domestic rabbit other than disease

  1. Rats are considered both prey and predator. One time one of my girls got out of her cage and climbed in my rabbits cage. Thumper was drumming her feet and running around like crazy and growling. Finally she hopped up on her landing away from Sunshine to get away from her. She wouldnt come down till I put her back into her cage. From my experience I would say that might being the fact that its wild and the rabbit from the way Thumper acted would be terrified of the rat.


  2. wouldn't of thought so, but i would try your best to keep them seperated. most it would probably do is nick it's food

  3. why would you have a wild rat near a pet rabbit.

  4. they bring many diseases so i wont put them together incase ur rat catches something

  5. i dont know. my suggestion keep the separated.
