Rats under the hood!

Question

I have a nice car that I park in the driveway with a car cover on it. I have been noticing rat droppings on the engine. I have one of those electronic pest repellent devices under the hood, but doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions on how I can keep them out of my car? Thanks

Might try a few moth balls. I wouldn't use poisons unless you want to smell a dead rat in your car or a possible flammable situation. I had a squirrel make a nest on top of my engine last week. Now I go out daily and crank it just to keep the critters away.
