Rats vs hamsters vs gerbils?

i have always been curious on wich one is a favorite rodent house hold pet.since these are the three major kept small pets in a house wich one is your favorite?

Definitely a rat. They're so smart and lovable. They're also extremely friendly towards most all people (Unless you have a particularly hostile one). They also bite less.

A RAT, hands down

they have so much more personality than a hamster or gerbil.

rat then hamster then gerbil.....Syrian Hamster if you are short on money.... if u are REALLY low on money I would suggest a gerbil. Rats are very intelligent and you can teach them tricks like you can dogs. I would have a rat if i had the money!

RAT!!

I They do not smell as bad (they are the cleanest rodent) and they are much more human oriented. Most compare them to small dogs and they rarely bite.

gerbils dont like being handled much and arent as friendly

hamsters are little jerks and bite alot...and sleep alot

rats or even mice are the best in my opinion!!
