  1. I dont think its a great idea..They need one solid captain to bring good leadership to the club (not that I want to see them succeed!).

  2. nope didnt work at the saints

  3. Well I hope they will still remember who's turn it is to supply the Oranges!!!! lol

  4. I don't agree with it, the team (no matter who) needs to have stability of leadership on the field (too many chiefs not enough indians). Go with the one captain and one vice captain.

If injuries affect either one then you make the adjustments needed

  5. Nah, don't like the rotating captaincy thing, just give it to Stevens. (insert 4 thumbs down here)

Ooooooooo FIVE thumbs down.....that makes me feel all warm n fuzzy like

  6. Nah, I think its wrong . they have their Prince now at Princess Park, who has captained a premiership team ....he is highly respected among the group at his new club, he should be the captain.

  7. It works OK with Sydney but depends on the club. I prefer a recognised leadership group with one captain.

  8. It's never worked and is a proven stupid idea.  The Cats and several others tried it and it failed dismally.

I've never seen a captain do much on the field (maybe I played with c**p teams) except lead by example and inspire the other players.  But having one person who all the other players would like to be more like on the field is good.

The successful clubs lately have had leadership groups and leaders within domains (backs, forwards, midfield) but one captain on the field: stable, level-headed, hard working and tough.

Judd would be an excellent choice!

  9. thats the only way Ratten can have Judd as captain even if only for one match, rotating doesn't work

  10. Judd has publicly stated that he does not want to be captain. He did not really want to captain the WCE when Cousins self destructed.

But if he is to accept all that money to play for them he should be expected to take on some responsibility with the club.

He has also publicly stated he does not want to give evidence into the AFLs official inquiry into the WCE - though he said he would co-operate.

I don't think he relishes having to air what he knows.

  11. Nah , whats wrong with one captain. Brisbane, Sydney, St.Kilda have more than 1 , i think i 1 captain should do the job.

    Judd should captain Carlton

  12. Nah they need one leader...but I guess if u give the players a chance for a bit of responsiblity it could improve them. Sometimes a bit of responsibility would be good for a young side. BUt they still need one leader figure. Whatever they choose I'm sure it'll work out. Good Luck to them.
