  1. I would highly suggest going to www.sounddeadenershowdown.com, you will see Second Skin and RAAMAT are two of the best choices in terms of sound deadening.  A few extra dollars spend on it will make a world of difference with the sound in the car, and lack of sound coming out of the car.

  2. yes, it will rattle. because subwoofers move air back and forth to create bass, and they move the trunk lid and various plastic and metal parts while they move. you can fix that my buying sounding dampening material (Dynamat. www.onlinecarstereo.com). it will only sound like poo on the outside of the car, you cant hear the vibrating parts inside the car because of the bass.

  3. u can dynamat it but it doesnt sound good from outside ... i have 3 or 4 customers come to me a week with the same problem.. make sure u have no loose materials in the car  check under the carpet.. spare tyre... check the number plate s***w it on tight.. when u play music full blast go outside and check if u can source the rattling otherwise dynamat it or an extreme option which i install once a week is fibreglass everything in the boot that will get rid of it if it is done properly

  4. second skin very nice.....also use foam padding in between the body pannels (egg carton shaped stuff...wal-mart...bedding section)

i siliconed all seems on my trunk lid, added a layer of sound deadening, and spray glued a sheet of foam padding to it. spray glued matching interrior fabric over it all.....although i gutted my entire interrior and did the same thing throughout the entire thing....absolutely no rattles what so ever....and i average 140+dB listening to music while driving.

  5. When it rattles it's because your system isn't set up right or is trying to put out too much bass, not anything to do with your car.

    So obnoxious.

  6. Spend some money and dynamat tha s**+

  7. It will probably rattle. When the car rattles, it is just the different parts and gaps bumping into each other.

I.E. where the trunk lid closes...the bass will move the trunk lid down into the gap onto the rest of the frame.
