Rattling sound from my 93 ford probe?

whenever i start the car there is a rattling sound from the front of the car. it gets louder as the rpms get higher. it stops if i let off the gas or the auto trans upshifts. i cant figure it out! its drivin me nuts.

One very distinct possibility could be that the inner composite of the catalytic converter have come loose and are now rattling around inside the cat. shell. Have someone start the car and rev it up(modestly) as you listen for the noise.
