Ratty erection?

Hi Guys,

I've had my little rat for a year now. Last night was the first time I saw him with his *ahem* privates *ahem* out. I know that animals do this from time to time, but 2 hours later, it was still there.

My partner (who is a nurse) put on some gloves and helped little ratty tuck it back in but I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this?? A couple of hours is a long time for this, right? Is it a medical problem...?

This is a medical problem yes. I forget what it's called myself... I'd advise taking him to a small animal vet.
