Real Madrid recently renewed Raul Albiol’s contract. The Spanish centre-back rarely got any appearances for the club last season and many thought that he might be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, the two parties agreed to a deal and for now, Albiol is going to remain at the Spanish capital.
The Spanish centre-back is going to be a useful asset for Jose Mourinho, as the Portuguese mentor is aiming to win the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming season.
