Schalke striker, Raul Gonzalez, has revealed his special affection for the 2. Bundesliga side, Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Despite playing for the Veltins-Arena outfit, the striker lives in Dusseldorf with his family and watches every game involving the Fortunen. Raul is a big fan of Dusseldorf and has even joked of joining them in the past.
Metzelder reckons that had the F95 been in the first division, the Spanish international could possibly have tied knots with them.
While talking to express, the sweeper further mentioned:
"If we are travelling with Schalke, Raul will do everything he possibly can to receive television pictures for the Fortuna games. When their games are being shown, he watches them like a normal fan of the Fortuna gates.”

He concluded.
Raul, on the other hand, confirmed of his affection towards the second division side, which finished 7th last season. However, the F95 are currently leading the 2. Bundesliga standings with 42 points, three points clear
of the second placed Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Spaniard landed at Veltins-Arena on a free transfer in 2010 and has netted 20 goals in 50 league appearances for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues thus far.
Raul has already scored seven goals from 16 league appearances this season. The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire at the end of the ongoing campaign and it is high likely that he will move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 or a Major League Soccer
outfit.
It is also believed that the 34-year-old could retire from professional football at the end of the 2012/13 campaign, having already given up on his 10-year international career with the Spanish National side.
