The Schalke striker claims his former club has all what it takes to win all three trophies this season.

Apart from that, the Madrid giants have reached the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League and the quarter-final of the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are two favourites to win Europe’s premier club competition this season and Jose Mourinho’s side certainly has the edge over their Catalan counterparts.
“I want Real Madrid to win it all in 2011-12. The Champions League, La Liga and the Copa del Rey. I think they can win the Champions League. Why not? There are two favourites in my opinion. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Real Madrid,” he was quoted
as saying in an interview.
Die Knappen striker added that he still watches Los Blancos’ games and insisted that the team is well on course to a successful campaign. He stated that the team has definitely improved from the previous campaign and are much stronger
now.
“I watch all their games and Jose Mourinho's work is paying off. The squad hasn't changed much, but they're making steps forward. They have become more competitive and sit top of the league table,” he concluded.
Real Madrid will face fierce rivals Barcelona in the quarter-final of the Spanish Cup. The Catalans will be seeking revenge for their 1-0 defeat in the final last season.
