Ravens’ linebacker Terrell Suggs warns against complacency for Colts game – NFL News
Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Terrell Suggs has warned his teammates against complacency in their game against the winless Indianapolis Colts this Sunday saying that the side was capable of pulling off an upset.
The player has noted that the 0-12 mark should be taken as a warning sign from the Colts that the side was capable of pulling off a win at any time against any side.
He urged Ravens players not take the Colts lightly in their game this Sunday despite that they are seen all favourites to win the tie.
"To be honest with you, yeah, because I lost to a O-for team," Suggs told The Baltimore Sun. "I think it was back in '07. It was actually the Miami Dolphins in overtime. A little slant route got us. But this is the NFL and they're
professionals, and we're expecting (Indy) to light up and come up in here and play. They're just as big a threat to us as if we were playing anybody else."
The Ravens 9-3 are just behind the Pittsburgh Steelers 10-3 in American Football Conference (AFC) north division. In case of their win on coming Sunday’s they will be helped again to tie with the Steelers atop of the division.
Both sides have beaten the Cleveland Browns comfortably this week. The Steelers after their Thursday’s game have three more games to go to end their current regular season, before the playoffs.
The Ravens meanwhile have four more games to play to close the season. This includes their game against the Colts this Sunday. Odds are in their favour to stage a win.
However if the Ravens lose they will fall behind the Colts on the points table, and Suggs has warned them against leniency against the winless side of Indianapolis Colts. Their loss will clear Pittsburgh Steelers way to win the
division.
The Colts ranked at the bottom of NFL north division losing all their 12 games. The absence of their star quarterback Peyton Manning due to his neck injury has made all the difference to his side. They are seen struggling since
their first match in the current season.
