Allen’s continued surge from the 3-pointer line
Since becoming the king of three-pointers, Ray Allen has been playing tremendously throughout his games. The player has a magic touch and adds the magic Celtics look for in him. The player notched 25 points and grabbed four rebounds in Celtics’ surge over
Utah Jazz. Boston’s guard went 5-for-8 from the long range, his favourite spot and notched a 9-for-15 shooting from the field.
Lopez’s effort to keep the Nets up
Brook Lopez shined in the loss. The player pulled out 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the New Jersey Nets in a span of 46 minutes. The titan went 4-for-5 from the foul line and finished on a 12-for-23 shooting from the field.
Frye’s game-frying 3-pointer
Channing Frye helped the Suns clinch the win. The player shot a game saving 3-pointer to seal Phoenix Suns’ 104-103 victory against the Nets. Mr. Big shot hit that tenacious shot pretty well and when asked about it later said, "It was juicy. I knew it was
good."
Noah’s superb comeback effort
Joakim Noah had a superb performance in his fourth game after returning from a 30-game absence due to the surgery he had on his right hand and thumb. The player notched 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in Chicago Bulls’ win against the Washington Wizards.
The player had a terrific shooting and recorded 8-for-11 shooting from the field, also adding 3-for-4 shooting from the free throw line.
Chandler adjusting well in Nuggets
Wilson Chandler took another offensive effort ever since joining the Denver Nuggets. The player who has recently turned a Nugget contributed 15 points and went 6-for-14 shooting from the field. He also grabbed five rebounds, dished out two assists and made
a steal in the win over Atlanta Hawks. The ace has been averaging 17 points in three games since being traded to Denver from the New York Knicks in a blockbuster deal.
Thornton and Griffin in Kings vs. Clippers
Marcus Thornton clinched a season-high 29 points in Kings’ win. The player pulled out 16 out of the total 29 in the final quarter of the game.
The player was later quoted as saying, “They got me the ball in spots where I can be effective. This is a young team that likes to have fun. It's been easy for me to get acclimated real fast."
Blake Griffin, the slam dunk contest winner of All-Star Break, 2011 was playing in his extreme efforts to take the Los Angeles Clippers up against the Sacramento Kings. He scored a double-double as he pinned a team-high 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds,
six of them offensive. The player stayed on the field for 35 minutes.
