  1. The better man?....Bourque

    the better player.....Hull

  2. i'd say brett hull even though he might not have been the better "man" he was probably the better hockey player

  3. Wow. I am surprised at the answers here. I'd take Ray Bourque any day of the week over Hull. Hull was great... when he felt like it.

Bourque, meanwhile, had great leadership skills, and finding a Hall-of-Fame defenseman, let alone one of the 5 or 10 best ever, is a LOT harder than finding a mouthy sniper. I don't think it is worth the risk of wondering which Brett Hull would show up every day when you can have a pillar of strength like Bourque.

And I'd bet money that there is not a single NHL GM (except in Dallas, LOL!) that would disagree with me.

  4. hull

  5. Brett Hull no doubt

  6. Brett Hull

  7. Carnegie or O'Ree? Taylor or Richard? Hoffman or St. Pierre? Wickenheiser or Campbell?

  8. well seeing as how they played different positions--Hull was the better forward and Bourque was the better defenseman

  9. Brett Hull duh
