Rayo Vallecano coach unhappy with  two match penalty – La Liga News

Jose http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ramon-c30533 Sandoval has stated his displeasure at the two match penalty imposed on him and has labelled it excessive in light of the facts. The Rayo Vallecano coach was sent off in the 2-0 away defeat against Villarreal.
An appeal against his suspension has been made to the Competition Committee to reduce his sanction and the manager is hopeful that he will have his penalty reduced.
According to Sandoval, the whole incident has been unfair on him and the sanction is even more maladjusted. He also stated that the Competition Committee does not have all the facts, which is even more worrying.
"It's very sad to be star for that because I think it's a slightly maladjusted sanction to what happened in the field. The Competition Committee sets the rules and do not know what happened, and it is clear that the hurt I cut and paste "he said.
He also described the incident form his point of view and said that he was not expecting such ramifications.
"My exact words were 'I think this is another yellow card,' and I talked with the fourth official,” he reflected.
Rayo are appealing on the behalf of the manager and have directed him not to infringe on the sanctions and talk to his players during the match. He said that he expects justice to be served and his penalty to be decreased if not completely withdrawn.
Sandoval pointed to the treatment Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho and said that his issue is being managed in an improper way.
The manager took to the stands after his sending off, and was given a seat by a Villarreal fan.
"Even their fans supported me and told me that I have done nothing, but hey, it is history now and we learn from our mistakes,” Sandoval reflected.
Rayo are placed comfortably in La Liga standings, standing at 11th after taking 12 points from their 10 league matches.
The defeat against Villarreal came on the back of their impressive wins against Real Betis and Malaga, and Sandoval was clearly unhappy with his ousting.
