Rays fans - who is the woman they always show on TV?

I've been noticing it more and more this season. There is a woman who sits on the 1st base line who must keep an entire stack of signs to show to the TV cameras. She's a middle-aged woman with short hair and glasses. If there's ever a scoring play, you can count on the cameras to show her and her signs.

Some of her signs:

For Iwamura: "Amazing Aki"

For Longorio:: "Going Long with Longo" and "Rockin' Rookie"

For Gomes: "Gomes is our hero"

I don't know, it's just one of those things I didn't notice before but now it drives me nuts every time I see it. Kind of like noticing that somebody has a really annoying laugh.

it's my wife, and no, i won't tell you her name, she'd kill me. And if you think she is sometimes annoying at games, you oughta be around he every day. Man, sometimes she even bugs ME...like the last time i cooked dinner, it didn't turn out as well as i'd hoped and after dinner, she pulled out a sign from under the table that simply said "so-so"....but she really does have a great laugh...

On certain days Todd Kalas, the Rays TV broadcaster, has a contest for the best sign....My guess is that she is just a fan that has taken it a little too far??

And I agree, altjough It's NOT annoying to me that she has the signs (because usually they are very small) BUT it is SO ANNOYING that they show her after every good play!
