Rayvin Again has won the best odds for Coral.co.uk 475 (duplicated) at Hove in England on Thursday, March 29, 2012. The participants will have to cover an overall distance to win the 475 metres flat race, which has a prize money of £150.
A total of six quality hounds have lined up for the Grade OR event, which is scheduled to start at 19:46 GMT, and their names are as follows: Rayvin Again, Whata Lovely Job, Rebellious Cause, Tenor Max, Aughacasla Vieri and Rogers Nod.
Although Rayvin Again has been unable to deliver consistent results over the past few months, the bookmakers have still shown confidence in his abilities, giving him a very good starting price.
However, the punters will be reluctant over placing bets in favour of the favourite hound, who has not won any race for quite some time now. He is still a quality runner and it will not be a clever decision to rule him out completely.
S. Cahill’s trainee failed to make an impression in his most recent run, where he finished fifth overall. However, he seems to like the conditions at Hove, as he ended up second in his last appearance at the venue.
If the black dog gets a clear run today, it will be quite difficult to stop him from winning. He is the son of College Causeway out of Droopys Jackie and was born in December 2009.
Another runner, who is expected to do a good job at Hove, is Whata Lovely Job. He has mostly been doing trail runs in the recent past, which might work against him, as it is very important for a greyhound to stay in race practice.
Despite that, the bookies have given pretty decent odds to D. Childs’ trainee, who was unable to make an impression in his most recent outing. He entered the race as favourite back then, but disappointed one and all with his lacklustre show.
The brindle dog finished sixth, as he was unable to match the speed of the other runners. He will need a much better effort in order to prevail today. The second favourite hound is the son of Timor Blue out of Droopys Lotto and was born in November 2009.
It seems that Rayvin Again will manage to win the race comfortably, as the rest of the runners are not in good shape at the moment.
