Rayvin Again likely to be successful in Coral.co.uk 475 at Hove
Rayvin Again is unlikely to face any difficultly in picking up most of the prize-money in Coral.co.uk 475, taking place at Hove on Thursday, December 27th. S. Cahill’s charge regained winning form by showing a classy act here last week.
Things started to look frustrating for the black dog after a few unlucky defeats earlier this month. Another unfortunate loss was imminent, when he got crowded early in his previous race. But the dashing hound recovered nicely and, despite another mess in
the final moments, he managed to lead well before the wire.
With the help of a strong finish, he beat Millwards Tiger by one and a quarter lengths. The son of College Causeway, out of Droopys Jackie, sealed the runner-up place twice prior to his fresh strike.
There are no holes in his last few performances. Having returned to the winning ways, the 3-year-old is making even more appeal. So, it is hard to look elsewhere for the winner, despite the fact that he is not facing a weak opposition.
Among the rivals are: Aughacasla Suzi, Leos Options, Britania Joan, Millwards Tiger, and Glenbane Air. The race is due to begin at 20:18 GMT. The cash prize for the successful hound in 175 pounds.
Aughacasla Suzi looks the best choice after Rayvin Again. Today’s victory would be ample compensation for the latest defeat. The black and white b***h was no more than an unlucky loser last time, as she missed the gold medal only by a short head’s distance.
K. Tester’s trainee has done well over this distance, and looks a key player here.
Millwards Tiger might get outgunned in this sort of company. The black dog was trounced by Rayvin Again last time around. Glenbane Air will not be able to give anything away at the start. Leos Options is among those with prospects in this race. But his chances
are not very bright.
Britania Joan is running well these days, but it is hard to expect her to outpace the neighbour, Rayvin Again, who is standing in the sixth stall, and will be benefitted by any inside crowding.
