Razldazl Pru expecting a second seasonal success through the Summer Stayers
None among the six competing for the Summer Stayers has won recently, and it is only the three-year-old black b***h, Razldazl Pru, who has accomplished a string of four second positions. Creamery Quest, Hey Kiddo, Banba The Face, Swift Maldini and Killahara Jewel are ready to take up the challenge in order to win the £175 prize money after being the first one to race through 692 metres flat on Thursday, 12th July at Henlow.
The only victory that the Head Bound’s daughter struck through the new season was during the seasonal debut. All the races that came her way after that could not culminate into wins. However, the last four elude consistency with each ending at a second position.
The three-year-old won a 485 metres race at Coventry on 8th May, 2012 after reaching the other end of the wire in 29.62 seconds. She did not take long to declare dominance over the track after breaking from the second trap, and set Razldazl Houndini second.
17th June, 2012 marked the first second position of the three more that followed. Razldazl Pru finished right after the winner, Galtymoore Tom, who timed the track distance in 29.40 seconds taking advantage of the 3 ¾ lengths at Sittingbourne over 480 metres.
The black daughter out of b***h, Dear Prudence, then stationed second in a 708 metres race at Sittingbourne on 24th June, 2012. Setting into an early pace, towards the rails and then leading got the winner, Darts Wizard, to the wire in 44.48 seconds.
The K. Findlay trained missed the race by just half a length.
Razldazl Pru fell victim to the speed of the same winner on 1st July, 2012 at Sittingbourne over 708 metres in the Sittingbourne Super Stayers Final. This time Darts Wizard won by the margin of 1 ½ lengths, and timed the track distance in 44.31 seconds.
5th July got the black and white b***h the runner-up’s slot in the July Stayers at Henlow over 692 metres. The race was won by Blackrose Monach who clocked the track distance in 42.64 seconds and won by the margin of a length.
How successful will she be in getting to the first position today after lining up second positions one after the other will reveal soon.
