Razldazl Rioga added another title in Dolores Ruth’s collection by winning the Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels Final
The total number of winnings increased for trainer Dolores Ruth, as her hound availed the chance of hitting the wire at first place. Besides the titles of Easter Cup, Corn Cuchulainn and Irish Derby, Razldazl Rioga’s added another significant title in Dolores
Ruth’s collection.
Crossing the wire at the foremost position, the black dog gave his trainer a reason to sing the songs of victory.
Wearing white and black jacket with red number printed over it, the two-year-old began his quest from trap 6. In urge to win the purse entailed with the Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels Final, the trap 6 racer’s speed became a threat for the lot of hounds.
His hasty and abrupt surging tempo supported him in acquiring the pointer spot in the race, which became quite beneficial for him.
Not being the ideal hound of the show, D Ruth’s hound was sent in with the odds of 7 – 2.
Remaining at the position of frontrunner, Razldazl Rioga took 28.32 seconds to cross the finish line, and confirmed his ownership for the purse.
The victory not only placed the hound in the middle of the lime light, but the fortunate trainer was also given the chance to enjoy the glee of the title winning.
As D Ruth’s hound managed to hit the wire, he accomplished in defeating the trap 2 racer Beaming Dilemma, by 5 lengths. The black dog not being the idyllic hound of the event, rallied all the way towards the finish line, but unfortunately he was not able
to attain the position he desired.
While dashing through the lot of hounds, the four-year-old was left behind due to his lethargic start. Remaining at the back throughout the chase, the hound eventually lost the quest by finishing second in 28.72 seconds for trainer P Buckley.
Following Beaming Dilemma by 2 ½ lengths, was the trap 4 racer Varra Captain, who unluckily took 28.92 seconds to wrap up his quest, at the third place.
The white and black dog with the odds of 13 – 1, was placed in the final quest for trainer O McKenna. Haplessly the two-year-old lost the chance of winning the purse, though he kept on trotting through the track with a fabulous pace.
The second last hound who concluded his chase at fourth place was the black dog Deerfield Music. The only reason behind his defeat was his sluggish and slothful pace, due to which trainer O’Connor’s three-year-old hound badly got crowded, while dashing through
the third bend.
With the ideal odds of 6 – 4 F, Deerfield Music took 29.04 seconds to cross the wire as well as defeated Leeview Jet by 1 ½ lengths.
Trainer G Holland’s trap 3 racer, Leeview Jet with the odds of 2 – 1, was the last won to cross over. The black dog experienced obstruction during his chase, which became the cause of his defeat even though his early pace was quite impressive.
Besides the four participants who squandered the chance of winning the purse in Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels Final, Razldazl Rioga’s sparkling performance added another triumph for trainer D Ruth.
