Hey so i started shaving "down there" and i shave in the shower. i used mach three turbo razor and i put shaving gel on the spot and then i shave towards me up and down. Then i put hot water back on it then its fine but hours later the hair starts to grow back and there are red bumps and it looks awful. What did i do wrong? and what should i buy or do to fix that because i want a clean shave.

  1. The more you do it the better it gets I think... Nobody can say they've never had the awful bumps. :(  However, they do have different products that will help it, just look at a local drugstore or online for ways to minimize the bumps.  They're quite hideous... and painful.

And BTW:  I've used that C****ie shave cream too!!! It works like a charm!

  2. (1) Ensure that you are using a fresh razor. Dull razors are one of the most common causes for bumps.

    (2) Ensure that you are allowing proper time in the shower. Allow time for the hot water / steam to 'sink in' and soften the skin and hairs.

    (3) I've tried almost every kind of bump blaster on the market-- the one that is absolutely phenomenal is called Tend Skin. Do a google search for it. It's basically an after-shaving treatment that prevents bumps.

    (4) DON'T USE REGULAR SHAVING CREAM. Obviously the skin down there is sensitive, and so the shave cream should be something formulated especially for sensitive skin (I'd stay away from scents), or for shaving down there. This is going to sound funny... but there is a product on the market called C**chie shave. No joke. Go to Shopinprivate.com and you'll find it... works great!

  3. Usually, skin is sensitive down there and razor burn isnt unusual.

However, i dont see how the hair could grow back within hours. thats strange.

  4. btw, rinse the razor with cold water. if its difficult to do while in the shower, do it after the shower. hot water expands metal = bad. pat dry dont rub. and maybe move up to the fusion. i use that and it seems to shave better. unfortunately after one face and one down there its like DONE. but yeah, nicks and cuts happen. the skin is softer blah blah blah
