Rbk or Vaughn Goalie Pads. Need Some Help?

Question

I have a coach who can get me Reebok goalie equipment for wholesale prices.

Should I take that deal and get some Reebok's or should I save up for Vaughn V3's?

I havent used either pad yet, and need some help.

i work in a pro shop and i play goal so i hope that gives me some cred...

as long as youre talking about the 8k reebok pad, youve got 2 pro level pads that will both suit you well. i love all of vaughns stuff so im kinda biased, but one thing to consider is the "flat faced" RBK desighn versus the more traditional Vaughn "ribbed face" style. Also, full priced V3s are gonna run you $1200 ish, and you could get 2 sets of RBks for that if you get wholesale pricing.
