Re-4 code JFC; how likely would that be waived in the army?

  1. Robs answer is only partially correct...

    No Congressmen can change an RE Code...

    It can only be done by the Military...

    An RE-4 Code is "Not Recommended for Reenlistment".

    Must be a real "Sh*t Bird" ???

I had an RE-4 and Active Duty Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and even the Coast Guard wouldn't touch me.  I had to join the National Guard (with waiver) to get back into any branch of the military. Write your congressman, he/she can over rule a RE-4 and make it an RE-3.  Or you can write the review board of your service branches records.

  3. slim to none.  the National Guard ONLY is accepting RE4 s on a case by case basis.
