There seems to be a division on how to properly clean a dvd.

Which is safer and more succesful between the two approaches?

A. Wipe in a circular motion, from the inside out

(follow the grain of the Disk)

B. Wipe from the center-out, then turn, wipe again until 360.

  2. B. If your cd has scratches against the grain of the disk the disk is less likely to skip or freeze as compared to a long scratch. if the scratch is going with the grain of the disk it will block more data in a row and be more likely to freeze up.

  3. B

I've used this method before and it works. Also, the warning label tells you not to use method A
