Is an Army Re-Enlistment bonus considered community property in a marriage?

  1. If you were married when you received it, yes.  Some states will consider it community property if you signed your papers stating you will receive it when you were married.  That's really a question for JAG and the divorce attorney.

  3. I beleive it is.. the only things that are not (depending on how long married) are VA benifits, from being injured in the line of duty and Pension. The Pension is very questionable due to states having the power to asign allimony and such.
