My friends fed the local birds outside a George Webb (bread,& later, birdseed) for over a year. Suddenly the owner made them stop, stating it's against restaurant health code.

Is this true,or was he just having a bad day, taking it out on the poor little birds?

I call BS on this supposed law.

It's true.  Not sure why your friends were spreading seed outside of a restaurant, but it's a bad idea, and attracts mice and rats, as well as birds.

Just this year, 37% of the restaurants in Milwaukee were cited with health code violations, including violations for vermin.
