If you are Vietnamese, has ur parents ever said for males palm reading is in the left hand and for females its the right hand?

Yes, you are correct.  " Trai tay trái, gái tay phải".

However, that doesn't mean she's your soul mate because she has the same creases. When they read your palm, they would read your right hand because you're a man. If they read your wife, they would read her left hand because she's a woman. That goes for every man and woman.
