I just moved to a new county last month. I was a registered voter. What do I have to do to be able to vote in my new county? Can I do it online?

  1. You will have to register in the new county, so that they will have your correct address, and so that you will be eligible to vote in the local elections that pertain to that county.  Call the office to find out what you have to do and whether you can do it on line.  The title of the official in charge of voter registration varies from state to state, but they are usually uniform within the same state.  Since you indicate that you moved to another county, I am assuming that you are in the same state.  Therefore, look at your existing voting card, which should have the title of the official on it, then find the local office for that official in your county and call it on the telephone.  They should be able to tell you what you need to do, and whether you can do it on line.  Good luck.
